Loudoun Absentee Voting Information

Who will LOSE if the sales tax wins on Nov. 5?
The residents of Loudoun County and Leesburg, that's who.

The sales tax proposal would not only condemn the region to years of sprawl development and ever increasing traffic congestion, but each community would be hurt.

Loudoun: Big Roads = More Sprawl

Proponents of the sales tax make no secret of their yearning for the Techway and Western Bypass, and other new corridors.

Why? They want the taxpayers to build the roads for developers.

All residents know what more development means - more congestion.

This list of projects includes expansion of the now-dirt Loudoun County Parkway and a new, expanded Route 659.

Governor Warner revived the Techway and continued the Western Bypass study. The sales tax is all the developers need to get these beltways built.
