The sales tax referendum provides $200 million to begin widening the Beltway.

Can you imagine the disruption on and off the Beltway as it is widened to 12 lanes and multiple Springfield-sized interchanges are added? The next time you drive the Beltway, mentally imagine where those extra lanes and interchanges are going to go.
