That road, which many Alexandria residents have fought, could be funded by the sales tax increase under "Eisenhower Highway Improvements." Moreover, funding for the Connector(s) under the sales tax will not be sufficient to pay for the entire project.

Which means if you live in Alexandria, you not only get a road you don't want, you also are likely to get a property tax increase - to pay the difference between what the sales tax will fund and the actual cost of the Eisenhower Connector(s).
